i have gotten 20+ plus wins several times on a team without a monk (once being me Derv(non-healer) and 3 eles.). Happens a lot on noob day, like yesterday. Tons of crappy players flood into RA thinking,,, win, win easy zcoins and have no understanding of RA. If you get 4 seasoned players with a little of chemistry (usually heavy damage teams), you can get streaks easy.

You will eventually face a team with 2-3 decent players and a good supporting monk, which will ultimately result in a loss. You win matches for longer streaks than expected just based on looking at your team composition and /resign fail. Good players can target well and work together. A monk with 3 retards is going to do no better than that.

Now ending up with other players that have a clue is rare in itself, don't expect it to happen much on noob day.

Just because someone can Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V from pvxwiki, doesn't mean they know crap. I use builds that purposely defeat wikinubs and no you can't find them on a website. RA is enjoyable at how predictable 75% of the players are, it makes it easy to defeat them.

I don't even think it's fun anymore to play in a NO monk team. Without monk there is just a very very small chance u get 5 wins. So to get 25, u better resign and hope for a monk.

Play 123noobnecro (Insidious,Faint and CE).
You will get easy 25 wins.

How to ?

Target a warrior or another melee player, press 123.
meanwhile you can spam another hexes (they must be 1337 and give a -50 degen!) on another melee.

PS: Only works on International districs, there you will see over 9000 warriors.
PS²: Works with another 123noobnecro on your team.
PS³: No,you shouldn't care about the -10 degen cap, just spam degen!

I guess Zahr was forced to play with real people once Hero Battles got the axe.

I leave All Chat off and set my status to Do Not Disturb when I'm in a PvP outpost or match. So it's... fairly unlikely.

You seem butthurt. Have I argued with you before?

I played hero battles on one weekend, when I learned about the whole red resigns thing, and used it to grief people when I was red. Before that I'd never actually entered the outpost.

Those 10+ win streaks in a team without a monk are the most fun of my all RA experience. It's hard to do and requires all team members to be competent, but the wins are fast and very satisfying.

Yes - the times I've gone on streaks on monkless teams have generally been the result of having a shutdown class (e.g. Mesmer, Ranger) on their Monk and having three spikers on the other side. Those matches tend to end very quickly and are very powerful.

Oh, now I remember. You're one of those people who thinks that heroes are somehow responsible for us not playing with you. Or are you one of the ones who hates the idea of us being able to have more fun? Or both?

PS: The only crush I have is on Vladimir Putin.

a lot of the idiots are also overconfident if they have a monk on their team so they run ahead and just die before the rest of the team even comes out . ..

I've done 37 wins with no monk. 2 Necros, derv, and a sin.

One of the necros even had stone sheath.

I think most of my glad points are from non-monk teams, though I haven't played RA in about a year, back then you could tell the noobs because they complained if there was no monk. What a sorry state the game has descended to if this really is necessary now.

yeah.. but some people are perfectionists and wont give game unless things are exactly how they want and think they have a chance to win. No monk all but almost obliterates any chance of winning 5 in a row. You would be lucky to make it through one.

I poo on srs business glads farmers really, lol, nothing more annoying when you just want to test a new cool build and ppl just afk, rage or suicide. After 5 games without monks I dont know wether my über build worked or not because I simply didn't get to the 'playing guild wars' part ><.

RA is the onl place where you can pvp even though your bad, blame anet for deleting TA, but don't blame bad players that just wanna have a little relaxed fun. Besides that most RA monks are garbage, or beginners practicing. Winning shit hen you got a monk and they don't is definitely not a given.

RA is where you go to play smiting necros, riposte eles, wastrel's collapse blackout mesmers, sword rangers, power spike warriors and other fun shit.

Oh, and mixed districts are bad .

Monks are over rated in RA.

I just spammed healing breeze and vig spirit on everyone, then started meleeing melees and /winx15.

Would you really like me monking for you in RA? I wouldnt ever want me monking for me in any PVP lol.

See, I have a solution to this. Allow players to declare their role, like "healer", "damage", "counter", etc., then the group randomizer could use that information to create less-lame teams with some actual balance to them. Maybe when you join the matches, it could even ask your desired team makeup in terms of these roles, then your countdown timer could wait until an appropriate group was found for you. A lot more people will end up happy campers.

It's out of control right now. 90% of the people joining are unsatisfied with the makeup of the team. I know when I monk it feels like 3 out of 4 times I end up on a 2-monk team, sometimes more! It's just stupid and something should be done about it.
